We begin our journey with Shoden, Reiki Level I over two days. This is considered the “First Teachings” and provides a foundation for you to practice Reiki on yourself as a nonprofessional practitioner.  "Many cultures have developed techniques and disciplines that stimulate the flow of Ki energy around the body. Garry Malone, Reiki Healing Association You do not need to want to have a professional Reiki Practice to use and benefit from Reiki 1 and 2. The ability to channel Reiki for self-treatments and application in daily life is a wonderful way to use the ability. We have had students that simply want to have Reiki for self-healing. Reiki has so many benefits, with the cornerstone being relaxation and stress reduction the appeal to have this for oneself is evident! Reiki benefits include pain relief, supports peaceful, restorative sleep, mental focus and reduces anxiety.
